The 6th Indonesian Neurology NMO Case Teleconference
Various neuro-immunology case studies continued to be developed according to holistic management system, although the prevalence is rare. Multicenter discussion using multimedia presentation has bridged the development of further studies. Teleconference is held to facilitate discussions of various cases of neuro-immunology and to review the diagnosis and treatment of the cases. The event entitled “The 6th Indonesian Neurology NMO Case Teleconference” was held on September 27, 2017 at AMEC, Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University, in collaboration with University of Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, Brawijaya University, Sriwijaya University, Sebelas Maret University, Sam Ratulangi University, and Kyushu University Japan.
The 6th neuro-immunology teleconference discussed three topics on transverse myelitis in the elderly (Airlangga University/dr. Devi Ariani S, Sp.S), myasthenia gravis refractory (University of Sebelas Maret/Dr. Diah Kurnia Mirawati, Sp.S), and positive anti-MOG antibodies in ADEM with neuroimaging resembling multiple sclerosis (Kyushu University Japan / Prof. Jun-ichi Kira, MD, PhD).
